This degree is still in progress as I put it on hold to pursue a startup and have been working as a web developer ever since.
BookmarkOS is a desktop experience for your bookmarks. It is a project of mine, I've built the entire site from the ground up.
I built WheresThatStyle from the ground up for a startup in Seattle. It is crowdsourcing for where to buy clothes that celebrities are wearing. I did the front end and the backend using Rails 4.1, jQuery, and SASS (for CSS).
SourceMarket is like Fiverr, but for SEO services. I built the entire site from the ground up and implemented the front end.
Imperative is a tool for discovering what drives you and motivates you with regard to work. I built the initial product with another Rails developer. I also implemented the front end with SASS.
I built Food Delivery City for a startup. It allows restaurants to easily add a menu to their existing website with just one line of javascript. This site is built in Rails 3.1 and uses jQuery templates to render the menu. I built everything from the ground up, including the design, JSON API, order faxes, automated phone confirmation, and online payment.
Flashcard Stash is a personal project of mine. It started as an online dictionary that allowed one to save words and has since grown into a flashcard based study tool. It has over 100,000 users and has been a great learning experience.
PetHero was built using Rails 3.1, MongoDB, jQuery, and bootstrap.
MadScribes is a real time story telling game.
My name is David Lynam and I am a freelance web developer based in Seattle. I work mainly in Ruby on Rails and am one of those rare developers who can do front end design and development as well. I find myself happiest on small teams, and I love building products from the ground up.
